C-TRAC is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization that serves our country and bolsters our economy by bringing together government, education, and industry partners to meet our warfighter’s needs at market speed – fulfilling our vision of co-creating national capabilities.
We believe that by bringing together public, private, and academic ingenuity, our country will benefit from superior design and faster development, rendering us more competitive, technologically capable and economically robust.
Epicenter of Innovation
Colorado Springs is bursting with innovative companies specializing in aerospace, cyber security, communications, and many other leading-edge technology areas. These companies are ideally positioned to serve the ever-growing military presence, offering commercial expertise that aligns with the warfighter’s needs.
Headquartered at Catalyst Campus, C-TRAC takes advantage of this rich environment by searching out and capitalizing on opportunities to connect local talent to an eager government customer. Centrally located along the Front Range of Colorado, C-TRAC not only receives federal funding, but is supported and encouraged by the State of Colorado through a number of programs and initiatives.
C-TRAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to provide an agnostic environment for bringing together commercial partners who, on their own or as part of a team, can provide the government customer with rapid development, cutting-edge technology and capabilities that ensure our warfighters achieve and maintain superiority.
C-TRAC works with other Colorado non-profit organizations, such as the Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation (CCTI) and the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), to expand the services we provide to our customers.
The DoD Prototyping Guidebook lists C-TRAC as an example of a PIA – “public-facing intermediaries [that] help government organizations find, collaborate with, and contract with industry, labs, and academic partners to discover and develop innovative solutions to problems that the organization is trying to solve.”
C-TRAC has led the charge in this important work by facilitating Partnership Intermediary Agreements with Air Force CyberWorx and Air Force Research Labs, providing recruiting, teaming opportunities, business acceleration, commercial augmentation programs and much more. We are always in search of additional partners to leverage existing PIAs and establish new intermediary agreements.

Working in concert with our non-profit partners, C-TRAC provides curricula for rapid business development, customer discovery, various contract vehicles, and investment and technology transfer opportunities.
C-TRAC’s home at Catalyst Campus is the ideal venue to bring public and private audiences together to showcase and demonstrate the latest technologies and innovations. We recruit nationwide to bring you the best opportunity for success.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Partnerships and teaming allow groups of small and medium businesses to pool their resources and ingenuity to compete with the big guys. C-TRAC provides the agnostic environment needed to facilitate these relationships.
